The Will Ervin Scholarship Committee is responsible for administering the Will Ervin Scholarship, the Carl Boggs Scholarship, and Camper Scholarships. Below is an explanation of each scholarship. You may click on the name of the scholarship to see the scholarship guideline and get an application. All scholarship applications are due to the church by March 31, 2012.
Will Ervin Memorial Fund Scholarship
The Will Ervin Memorial Scholarship is based on merit. In order to qualify for a Will Ervin Memorial Fund Scholarship, the upcoming college student must be a member of the Richlands United Methodist Church and be registered as full-time (12 or more semester hours) student with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 per semester. Should the student fall below these requirements, he/she will automatically have another semester to bring the grade point average up. A transcript is then required to verify the student’s standings before another check can be sent to the college.
Carl Boggs Memorial Fund Scholarship
