Meetings: The Trustees will be meeting on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

The Membership & Nurturing committee will be meeting on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 6:30 pm.

Nursery Attendant: We are in need of volunteers for the nursery during the 8:45 am and 11 am services. If you would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact the church office at 910-324-5464 or Ms. Leigh Bair at 910-330-2259.

Church Directory: The Church Directory is in, several church members have picked up their copy, but there are still some copies left. If you have not picked up your directory copy, please stop by the church office Monday-Friday from 8am to 12 pm, so that you make pick your copy up! United Methodist Women:     The United Methodist Women would like to invite ALL the women of the church to join us, the second Monday of each month starting at 7:00 pm at RUMC.

United Methodist Men: The United Methodist Men would like to invite ALL the men of the church to join us, the second Monday of each month starting at 7:00 pm at RUMC.

Richlands Community Outreach Ministries: We need assistance with our monthly Food Drop at the old Town & Country store location. The Food Drop is normally on the FIRST Monday of each month (if that Monday is a Holiday then it is the next day after). Work begins at about 8:00 am and lasts until approximately 12:00 noon. Please contact Carroll Beaty at 324-2229 if you can help or need further information, Thanks!!!!

RCOM also needs our help with replenishing their supplies. We have given out over 100 boxes of food since the beginning of June. (This does not include the families we help at the food drop on the first of the month.) The Food Pantry is empty of most items. Our church will be responsible for helping to replenish the Macaroni & Cheese, Hamburger Helper and Instant Potatoes. Please help us to continue this much needed ministry in our community. Bible Study: Bible Study Classes will be held on Sunday night at 6:00 pm and on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am. The Bible Study Classes topic will be “A Disciple's Path.” We look forward to seeing you there!

Family Night at RUMC: Two Wednesdays a month RUMC will sponsor a "Family Night" starting at 6:00 pm and ending at 7:30pm. with supper,  Youth Bible Study.  Something for everyone. Everyone is invited to attend.  Tell your friends and neighbors and come on out for a night of fellowship. The next Family Night Meal will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 6:00 pm. We will be serving Texas Style Beef Brisket. You are asked to please bring your favorite side and/or dessert to the meal.

Walk in the Park: Please join us in a short devotional and walk at Steed Park on Mondays & Wednesdays. We will begin at 8:30 am and walk for about 30 minutes. This will be an opportunity to strengthen our bodies and faith. Come join us! For more info call Diane Rand at 324-2295

COMMUNION SERVERS:  There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board.  Please take time to fill out the time that you can serve, also include your phone number. 

NURSERY:  The Nursery is open during the 8:45, Sunday School, and the 11:00am services.  The Nursery welcomes all children, from birth to 3 years of age. 

SAVE YOUR PIGGLY WIGGLY RECEIPT---Linda Salzman is collecting your Piggly Wiggly receipts, Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Soup Labels (UPC Code) for school needs.  Please bring them to the church and put in the box in the hallway (window) near the fellowship hall.

COMPACT DISK (CD) MINISTRY…We are recording each Sunday service onto compact disk for distribution to those in our church family who can’t attend or would like to share the service with others.  If you or someone you know would like to receive a CD, either see Finley or put the name and phone number on the list on the bulletin board.  There are also CD players available if needed.  If you need further information, please speak with Finley Woolston.
